Eddie Wayne Brinson
February 22, 1950 – August 18, 2021

Graveside funeral services for Eddie Wayne Brinson, 71, of Cairo, GA, are at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021, in Pinecrest Memory Gardens, Pelham, GA.  Family and friends are invited to attend the service.  Mr. Brinson passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

Pallbearers will be Dane Merritt, Jerimiah Brinson, Kendall Taylor, Robbie Mitchell, Donald Merritt, Sean Anderson, Mike Anderson, Joel Brinson, Cole Brinson and Nicolas Brinson.

Mr. Brinson was born on February 22, 1950, in Pelham, GA, to the late Grady Brinson and Louise Anderson Brinson.  He served his country in the United States Navy.  On June 24, 1972, he married Linda “Patty” Merritt Brinson, who survives.  He was a machine operator with Koyo Bearings USA in Cairo.  He was a devoted loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.  He enjoyed welding, working in the yard and gardening.  He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include: his wife, Linda “Patty” Brinson of Cairo, GA; children, Heath Brinson (Jenny) of Cairo, GA, Joseph Brinson (Janette) of Cairo, GA, Adam Brinson (Melissa) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Kyla & Joel of Port St. Lucie, FL, Skylar, Cole, Micah, Nicolas, Megan and Miranda, all of Cairo, GA; brother, Roger Brinson (Glenda) of Pelham, GA; sisters, Helen Merritt (James) of Cairo, GA, Linda Anderson (Leon) of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Johanna Brinson.
